commercial progression sponsors ostraining drupal 8 series

Experts at Drupal development themselves, Commercial Progression headed by Founder and Owner Alex Fisher, recently invested $5,000 to create a comprehensive training resource focused on upgrading websites from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8 before its official release. This sponsorship provides 50 training videos by OSTraining on upgrading to Drupal 8 at no cost to the public. Drupal is an open-source content management framework written in PHP and used by top websites including WhiteHouse.gov and Economist.com. The bundle of training videos are to cover upgrading sites, modules and themes in Drupal 8. They are slated to be posted on YouTube in September 2015.

“Drupal 8 is around the corner, and the Drupal community is excited! We want to make sure as many people as possible can use Drupal 8” said OSTraining CEO Steve Burge of Sarasota, Fla.

Fisher of Northville, Mich. was recently accepted into the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Strategic Growth program designed by Babson College. He adds,

“Giving back and helping to foster the Drupal community is a goal of Commercial Progression’s growth plan.  The more we help Drupal, the more we help our clients and ourselves.”

Since 2008, OSTraining has run more than 100 training classes each year and has more than 2,600 training videos in its library.
